Gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.866 billion Euros

The gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.866 billion Euros at the end of the 4th quarter 2017, decreasing by 30 million Euros (-0.6%) from the 3rd quarter of 2017 and increasing by 14 million Euros (+0.3%) from the year-ago quarter.

The breakdown of the gross debt by financial instrument shows a decrease in the share of loans from 77.6% in the 4th quarter of 2016 to 72.5% in the reference quarter. This decline was offset by the growth in the percentage of securities which, during the same period, rose from 22.4% to 27.5%.

Net debt stood at 4.668 billion Euros

The net debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.668 billion Euros at the end of the 4th quarter 2017. Compared to the previous quarter, the net debt increased by 10 million Euros and rose by 81 million Euros over the year-ago quarter.
