Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in Madeira was -0.7%
In November 2016, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was -0.7%, the same as the previous month.
The largest downward pressure on the annual average rate of change occurred in the classes of "Transports" (-6.5%) and "Clothing and footwear" (-1.6%). On the opposite side, "Alcoholic beverages and tobacco" (+3.4%) and "Communications" (+2.8%) recorded the largest positive changes.
In Portugal, the value of that rate was 0.6%, the same as in the previous month.
In November 2016, the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region was 0,1% higher than previous month.
