Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in Madeira was null
In May 2017 the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was null, 0.1 percentage points (p.p.) higher than the value recorded in the previous month.
The biggest negative changes occurred in the classes of the "Transports" (-3.5%) and "Clothing and footwear" (-2.4%). On the opposite, "Alcoholic beverages and tobacco" (+ 3.4%) and "Communications" (+2.4%) recorded the largest positive changes.
In Portugal, the value of that rate was 1.0%, the same as in the previous month.
In May 2017, the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area was the same as in the previous month.
