Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in Madeira was 0.2%
The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira 0.2%, 0.2 percentage points (p.p.) higher than previous month.
The largest downward pressure on the annual average rate of change occurred in the classes of “Clothing and footwear“ (-2.7%) and "Transports" (-2.6%). On the opposite side, the classes of " Alcoholic beverages, tobacco" (+3.1%) and "Communications" (+2.6%) recorded the largest positive changes.
In Portugal, the value of that rate stood at 1.1%, 0.1 percentage point (p.p.) higher than previous month.
In June 2017, the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region stood 0.4% below the previous month.
