Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in Madeira was null
The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was null, 0.1 percentage points (p.p.) lower than the value recorded in the previous month.
The largest downward pressure on the annual average rate of change occurred in the classes of "Clothing and footwear" (-2.3%) and "Transport" (-1.4%). On the opposite side, the classes of "Communications" (+ 4.6%) and "Alcoholic beverages and tobacco" (+ 3.4%) recorded the largest positive changes.
In Portugal, the value of that rate was 0.7%, higher than the previous month by 0.1 p.p ..
In March 2016, the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region was 0.3% higher than the previous month (0.5% in last February).
