In the 3rd quarter of 2014

Labour Cost Index increased by 0.1% from the same quarter in 2013

The Labour Cost Index (working days adjusted) increased by 0.1% in the 3rd quarter of 2014, compared with the same period in 2013.

The two main labour cost items are wage costs (per hour actually worked) and other costs (non-wage costs but per hour actually worked).

Wage costs increased by 0.3% from the same period a year earlier and other costs decreased by 0.6%.

At the country level, the index decreased by 1.5% year-on year. Wage costs dropped by 1.4% while other costs declined by 2.1%
