Median value of bank appraisals on housing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira remained unchanged from the previous month and increased year-on-year
In June 2020, the average value of bank appraisals on housing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached €1 141/sq meter, remaining unchanged from May 2020 and rising by 6.1% from the year-ago month.
For the flats located in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the average value of bank appraisals in the month of reference was €1 113/sq meter, down by 2.2% and up by 2.6%, when compared to last May and June 2019, respectively. In the case of row houses the value was higher (€1 150/sq meter), with the growth rates, by the same order, standing at 0.3% and 7.8%.
For Portugal, that same variable stood at €1 115/sq meter in the month of reference, up by 1 euro from the previous month. The year-on-year change rate was +8.3%. The highest values were registered in Algarve (€1 538/sq meter) and Área Metropolitana de Lisboa (€1 477/sq meter) followed by the Autonomous Region of Madeira (€1 141/sq meter).
