Median value of bank appraisals on housing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira decreased slightly from the previous month and increased year-on-year
In November 2020, the median value of bank appraisals on housing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached €1 168/sq meter, decreasing by 0.1% from October 2020 and rising by 2.5% from the year-ago month.
For the flats located in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the median value of bank appraisals in the month of reference was €1 184/sq meter, down by 0.3% compared to previous month and up by 4.0% over November 2019. In the case of row houses the value was lower (€1 143/sq meter), with the growth rates, by the same order, standing at +1.5% and +0.3%.
For Portugal, that same variable stood at €1 144/sq meter in the month of reference, up by 13 euros from the previous month. The year-on-year change rate was +6.3%. The highest values were registered in Algarve (€1 562/sq meter) and Área Metropolitana de Lisboa (€1 507/sq meter) followed by the Autonomous Region of Madeira (€1 168/sq meter).
