Average value of bank evaluation on housing in Madeira dropped compared with the previous month but increased year-on-year
The average value of housing bank appraisals in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached €1 230/sq meter in January 2016, decreasing by €6 from December 2015 (-0.5%) and increasing by €63 from the same period of the year before (+5,4%). For Portugal, that same variable stood at €1 047/sq meter in the month of reference, 0.3% below the previous month. The year-on-year change rate was +3.7%.
For the flats located in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the value of bank appraisals in the month of reference was €1 263/sq meter. In the case of row houses the value was lower (€1 184/sq meter).
