Average value of bank evaluation on housing in Madeira dropped compared with the previous month but increased year-on-year
In February 2016, the average value of housing bank appraisals in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached €1 226/sq meter, decreasing by €4 from January 2016 (-0.5%) and increasing by €67 from the same period of the year before (+5.8%). For Portugal, that same variable stood at €1 049/sq meter in the month of reference, 0.2% above the previous month. The year-on-year change rate was +3.8%.
For the flats located in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the value of bank appraisals in the month of reference was €1 240/sq meter. In the case of row houses the value was lower (€1 208/sq meter).
