Average value of bank evaluation on housing in Madeira dropped compared with the previous month but increased year-on-year
In March 2016, the average value of housing bank appraisals in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached €1 165/sq meter, decreasing by €61 from February 2016 (-5.0%) and increasing by €4from the same period of the year before (+0.3%). For Portugal, that same variable stood at €1 048/sq meter in the month of reference, 0.1% below the previous month. The year-on-year change rate was +3.7%.
For the flats located in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the value of bank appraisals in the month of reference was €1 191/sq meter. In the case of row houses the value was lower (€1 131/sq meter).
