Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in the Autonomous Region of Madeira was 1.5%
In June 2019, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was 1.5%, decreasing by 0.3 percentage points from the previous month.
The highest positive changes were observed in the classes "Transport" and "Alcoholic beverages and tobacco, both with 4.3%. Conversely, the largest negative changes occurred in the classes of "Clothing and footwear" (-2.8%) and “Communications” (-0.9%).
In Portugal, the value of that rate was 0.9%, decreasing by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month.
In June 2019, the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region was 0.2% higher than in the previous month.
