Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in the Autonomous Region of Madeira has fallen to 0%
In November 2019, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was 0.0%, decreasing by 0.3 percentage points from the previous month.
The largest negative changes were observed in the classes of the "Clothing and footwear" (-4.9%) and “Communications” (-2.6%). Conversely, the highest positive changes occurred in the classes of the “Alcoholic beverages and tobacco" (3.5%) and "Miscellaneous goods and services” (1.1%).
In Portugal, the value of that rate was 0.4%, unchanged from the previous month.
In November 2019, the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region was 0.2% higher than in the previous month.
