Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in the Autonomous Region of Madeira was -1.5%
In November 2020, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was -1.5%, the same as in the previous month.
The largest negative changes were observed in "Transports” (-5.4%) and "Education" (-4.9%) classes. Conversely, the highest positive changes occurred in the "Restaurants and Hotels" (+2.1%) and “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” (+1.4%) classes.
In Portugal, the value of that rate was 0.0%% (0.1% in the previous month).
In November 2020, the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region increased by 0.1% compared to the previous month and by 1.4% over the same month of last year.
