Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in the Autonomous Region of Madeira was ‑0.6%
In July 2021, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was -0.6%, increasing by 0.3 percentage points (pp) when compared to the previous month.
Goods recorded a rate of 0.1% and services of -1.5%.
The largest negative changes were observed in “Education” (-4.9%) and in "Clothing and footwear” (-3.3%) classes. Conversely, the highest positive changes occurred in “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” (+1.5%) and "Health" (+1.1%) classes.

In Portugal, the value of that rate was 0.4%, 0.1 pp higher than in the previous month.
In July 2021, the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region had a change of +0.1% compared to the previous month and increased by 1.9% over the same month of the previous year.
