Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in Madeira was -0.4%.

The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was -0.4%, 0.1 percentage points (p.p.) higher than the value recorded in the previous month.

The largest downward pressure on the annual average rate of change occurred in the classes of the "Food and non-alcoholic beverages" (-3.0%), "Health " (-1.7%) and "Recreation and culture" (-1.4%).On the opposite side, the highest increases were observed in "Alcoholic beverages and tobacco" (+2.0%) and "Transport" (+1.9%).

In the country, the value of that rate stood at -0.2%, 0.1 p.p. higher than the previous month (-0.3%).
