Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in Madeira was -0.1%

In September 2015, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was -0.1%, the same asthe previous month.

The largest downward pressure on the annual average rate of change occurred in the classes of  "Clothing and footwear" (-1.7%) and "Recreation and culture" (-1.6%). On the opposite, "Communications" (+3,5%) and "Alcoholic beverages and tobacco" (+2.1%) recorded the largest positive changes.

In Portugal, the value of that rate was 0.3%, 0.1 percentage point (p.p.) higher than the previous month.

In September 2015, the monthly change in the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region was null (0.1% in the previous month).
