Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in Madeira was negative, -0.1%
In October 2015, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was -0.1%, the same as in the previous month.
The largest downward pressure on the annual average rate of change occurred in the classes of "Clothing and footwear" (-1.6%) and "Recreation and culture" (-1.5%). On the opposite, "Communications" (+3.7%) and "Alcoholic beverages and tobacco" (+2.2%) recorded the largest positive changes.
In Portugal, the value of that rate was 0.4%, up by 0.1 percentage point over the previous month.
In October 2015, the monthly change in the average value of housing rents per square meter of floor area in the Region was 0.2% lower than in the previous month.
