More performances, spectators and receipts in Madeira's cinemas
More performances, spectators and receips in Madeira's cinemas according to the provisonal data made available by the Institute for cinema and Audiovisuals (ICA), 13 585 performances were recorded during the first nine months of 2016 in Madeira's cinemas, an increase by 6.9% over the same period of 2015.
The number of spectators stood at 210 608, up by 1.8% from the corresponding period of the last year.
Until September, the box office revenues increased by 0.5% year-on-year, reaching 1 million Euros.
