More performances, spectators and receipts in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (ARM) cinemas
According to the provisional data made available by the Institute for Cinema and Audiovisuals (ICA), 17,999 performances were recorded in the cinemas of the Autonomous Region of Madeira in 2016, a 8.1% increase over 2015.
The number of spectators stood at 275,051, up by 4.2% and the box office revenues, reached 1,324 thousand euros, a 3.1% increase compared to the previous year.
