Number of performances, spectators and revenues in the cinemas of the Autonomous Region of Madeira increased year-on-year
According to the provisional data made available by the Institute for Cinema and Audiovisuals (ICA), 13,691 performances were recorded in the cinemas of the Autonomous Region of Madeira in the first nine months of 2017, a 0.8% year-on-year increase.
The number of spectators stood at 232,716, up by 10.5% and the box office revenues reached 1 161 thousand euros, a 13.3% increase compared to the same period of 2016.
