Number of performances, spectators and receipts in Madeira’s cinemas decreased year-on-year
According to the provisional data made available by the Institute for Cinema and Audiovisuals (ICA), 4,261 performances were recorded in the cinemas of the Autonomous Region of Madeira in first quarter of 2018, a 0.3% year-on-year decrease.
The number of spectators stood at 61,154, down by 8.8% and the box office revenues reached 318 thousand euros, a 6.7% decrease compared to the same period of 2017.
