Performances, spectators and revenue decreased year-on-year in the Autonomous Region of Madeira’s cinemas
According to the provisional data made available by the Institute for Cinema and Audiovisuals (ICA), 13,142 performances were recorded in the cinemas of the Autonomous Region of Madeira in the first nine months of 2018, a 4.0% year-on-year decrease.
The number of spectators stood at 195,597, down by 16.0% and the box office revenues reached 1,007.2 thousand euros, a 13.3% decrease compared to the same period of 2017.
