More performances, spectators and receipts in Madeira’s cinemas
According to provisional data made available data by the Institute for Cinema and Audiovisuals (ICA), 3 929 performances were recorded during the first three months of 2015 in Madeira’s cinemas, increasing by 5,6% vis-à-vis the same period of 2014.
The number of spectators was approximately 59 952, +37.7% when compared to the same period of the last year.
The box office revenues in the first three months of 2015 amounted to € 299 thousand, +32.7% vis-à-vis the same period of 2014.
