More performances, spectators and receipts in Madeira’s cinemas
According to the provisional data made available by the Institute for Cinema and Audiovisuals (ICA), 7 829 performances were recorded during the first six months of 2015 in Madeira’s cinemas, increasing by 2.5% over the same period of 2014.
The number of spectators stood at 128 460, up by 31.5% from the corresponding period of the last year.
In the first half of 2015 the box office revenues increased by 25.7% year-on-year, reaching a total of € 623.000.
