More performances, spectators and receipts in Madeira’s cinemas
According to the provisional data provided by the Institute for Cinema and Audiovisuals (ICA), in 2015, 16,652 performances were recorded in Madeira’s cinemas, a 3.4% year-on-year increase.
The number of spectators was approximately 264 thousand, up by 21.8% over 2014.
The box office revenues in 2015 reached 1.3 million euros, increasing by 17.7% compared to the previous year.
