Number of building permits and completed buildings increased in the Autonomous Region of Madeira compared to the same period of 2017
In the first quarter of 2018, 78 buildings were licensed and 62 buildings were completed. This represented an increase of 2.6% and 5.1%, respectively, compared to the same period of 2017.
65.4% of the licenses of construction and demolition works were for new constructions (51), 86.3% of which were destined for family housing (44).
The number of completed dwellings in new constructions for family housing (43) recorded a 42.7% decrease.
