Deliveries by mothers residing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira decreased by 5.2%
1,825 deliveries by mothers residing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM) were carried out in 2016, representing a 5.2% decrease over 2015 (-101 deliveries). Thirty four of that total were deliveries of twins. In the year of reference, 51.9% of the deliveries were from mothers aged between 25 and 34 years.
