In 2019, there were 65 pharmacies in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, 1 medicine depot and 20 points of sale for medicinal products not subject to a medical prescription.
In the Autonomous Region of Madeira, there were 26 pharmacies and mobile medicine depots per 100,000 inhabitants in 2019, a smaller ratio when compared to the country (30 pharmacies and mobile medicine depots per 100,000 inhabitants).
The data made available now will be included in the publication "Health Statistics of the Autonomous Region of Madeira - 2019," which will be released in December 2020.
