Number of pharmacies in the Autonomous Region of Madeira remained stable
In 2022, the number of pharmacies in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (ARM) remained unchanged, according to information provided by the Regional Directorate of Health. There were 65 pharmacies, 1 medicine depot, and 22 locations for the sale of non-prescription medications, which is the same as in 2021.
These newly released data will be included in the upcoming publication "Health Statistics of the Autonomous Region of Madeira - 2022," scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2024.
