Number of administered inoculations in the Regional immunisation Programme increased by 2.7%
In 2022, according to information provided by the Regional Directorate of Health, a total of 196,314 inoculations were administered in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, with 86,501 of these being COVID-19 vaccine inoculations (44.1%).
Within the framework of the Regional immunisation Programme (RIP), 55,822 inoculations were administered, representing a 2.7% increase compared to 2021 (54,370).
Outside this Programme, there were 140,492 inoculations, with 53,991 inoculations of vaccines other than COVID-19, which marked a 5.1% decrease compared to the previous year (56,906). It's worth noting that the number of COVID-19 vaccine inoculations decreased by 81.4% compared to 2021.
