Number of vaccines administered under and outside the Regional Imunisation Programme decreased

According to the data provided by the Institute of Health Administration and Social Affairs (IA Saúde), 47,681 vaccines of 14 different types were administered under the Regional Imunisation Programme in 2014, down by 8.6% from the previous year. The number of vaccines administered outside this programme stood at 38,339, dropping by 4.5% from 2013.

DREM released today, the 25^th of August, the vaccination coverage rate for the Autonomous Region Madeira in 2013. These data is included in the “chapter 6 – vaccination” of the publication “Health Statistics of the Autonomous Region Madeira – 2014”, due to be released in its complete form in December 2015.
