In 2015, there were 65 pharmacies in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, 1 medicine depot and 18 points of sale for medicinal products not subject to a medical prescription (down by two from the previous year).
There were 25 pharmacies per 100,000 inhabitants in 2015.
The data made available now will be included in the publication "Health Statistics of the Autonomous Region of Madeira - 2015," which will be released in December 2016.
