In the first quarter of 2021
Cement sales increased from the previous quarter and year-on-year
According to the data collected by the Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM), in the first quarter of 2021, the cement sales in the Autonomous Region of Madeira stood at 34.6 thousand tonnes, corresponding to a quarterly increase of 22.7% and to a year-on-year growth of 11.5%.
Regarding the value of cement sold in the Autonomous Region of Madeira in the reference quarter, it stood at 3.8 millions of euros, increasing by 24.9% from the previous quarter and by 11.9% year-on-year.
