In the 1st quarter of 2026
Volume of cement sold increased quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year
According to data collected by the Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM), in the 1st quarter of 2026, cement sales in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (ARM) reached 39.7 thousand tonnes, reflecting a 1.6% increase compared to the previous quarter (39.0 thousand tonnes). Compared to the same quarter of the previous year (39.3 thousand tonnes), there was a 0.9% increase. In the reference quarter, the value of cement sold in the ARM amounted to 6.3 million euros, showing a quarterly and year-on-year increase of 6.0% and 7.9%, respectively.
