Gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.853 billion Euros
In the end of the 2nd quarter 2016, the gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.853 billion Euros, decreasing by 60 million Euros (-1.2%) from the previous quarter and increasing by 27 million Euros (+0.6%) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.
The breakdown of the gross debt by financial instrument shows a decrease in the share of loans from 90.9% in the 2nd quarter of 2015 to 80.4% in the reference quarter. This decline was offset by the growth in the percentage of securities which, during the same period, rose from 9.1% to 19.6%.
