Gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.811 billion Euros
In the end of the 3rd quarter 2016, the gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.811 billion Euros, decreasing by 42 million Euros (-0,9%) from the previous quarter and by 134 million Euros from the 3rd quarter of 2015.
The breakdown of the gross debt by financial instrument shows a decrease in the share of loans from 91.1% in the 3rd quarter of 2015 to 78.6% in the reference quarter. This decline was offset by the growth in the percentage of securities which, during the same period, rose from 8.9% to 21.4%.
