Gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.663 billion Euros
The gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.663 billion Euros at the end of the 4th quarter 2019, dropping by 133 million Euros (-2.8%) from the 3rd quarter of 2019, and decreasing by 84 million Euros (-1.8%) from the year-ago quarter.
The breakdown of the gross debt by financial instrument shows a decrease in the share of loans from 68.0% in the 4th quarter of 2018 to 61.2% in the reference quarter. This decline was offset by the growth in the percentage of securities which, during the same period, rose from 32.0% to 38.8%.

Net debt stood at 4.472 billion Euros
The net debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.472 billion Euros at the end of the 4th quarter 2019. Compared to the previous quarter, the net debt increased by 34 million Euros (+0.8%) and declined by 50 million Euros (-1.1%) over the year-ago quarter.
