Mission
The Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM), as a regional statistical authority or in cooperation with the national statistical authorities, aims to produce and disseminate high-quality statistical information that can respond in an effective and independent manner to the needs of information of the Society.
Vision
DREM is acknowledged at an internal and external level as a reference statistical institution, carrying out its mission with technical independence, accuracy, ability, efficiency and guided by high patterns of quality, with the goal of satisfying its costumers, promoting Statistical literacy in Society and also fostering international cooperation.
Values
DREM and its staff carry out their activity in accordance with both the Law of the National Statistical System and the European Statistics Code of Practice and are guided by the following values.
