Volume of cement sold in the Autonomous Region of Madeira decreased compared to the previous year, whilst the value of sales increased
According to data compiled by the Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM), in 2025, cement sales in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (ARM) stood at around 166.2 thousand tonnes, reflecting a decrease of 5.4% compared to the previous year (175.7 thousand tonnes).
In turn, the value of cement sold in the ARM in the reference year stood at 25.3 million euros, presenting annual growth of 2.5%.
Narrowing the scope of the analysis to the 4th quarter of 2025, the volume of cement sales in first sale decreased by 11.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, whilst the value of sales fell by 3.6%.
