Number of building permits increased compared to the same period in the previous year, while the number of completed buildings remained the same

Between January and September of 2022, 393 buildings were licensed, up by 13.3% when compared with the same period of 2021 (347).

69.7% of the licenses of construction and demolition works were for new constructions (274), 90.1% of which were destined for family housing (247). These constructions resulted in the licensing of 494 dwellings in new constructions for family housing, up by 36.5% from the first nine months of 2021 (362).

As for the completed buildings, between January and September 2022, the value remained unchanged to a total of 215, of which 61.4% of the completed buildings were new constructions for family housing (132). The number of completed dwellings in new constructions for family housing stood at 348, increasing by 35.4% over the same period of 2021 (257).
