In the end of the 4th quarter 2015
Gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.682 billion Euros
In the end of the 4th quarter 2015, the gross debt of the Regional Administration of Madeira stood at 4.682 billion Euros, decreasing by 20 million Euros (-0.4%) from the previous quarter and increasing by 187 million Euros (+4.2%) from the 4th quarter of 2014.
The breakdown of the gross debt by financial instrument shows an drop in the share of loans from 90.2% in the 4th quarter of 2014 to 81.3% in the reference quarter. Inversely, the percentage of securities, during the same period, increased from 9.8% to 18.7%.
Note:
Debt compiled according to the definition of the Excessive Deficit Procedure (Regulation (CE) 479/2009, of 25 May), i.e., general government consolidated gross debt at nominal or face value (Maastricht debt).
