Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM) marks Mother's Day with a special publication that answers 10 questions

The Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM) releases today, on Mother's Day, the publication "Demography in Figures: Infographics Inspired by 10 Questions," with its first edition dedicated to Mother's Day.

This publication aims to answer questions about the present and past of the Autonomous Region of Madeira from a demographic perspective through infographics complemented by short texts.

The answers are based on data obtained by Statistics Portugal (INE) through the direct and exhaustive collection of birth records, as a result of mandatory civil registration in the Integrated System of Civil Registration and Identification.

For more comprehensive information, you may consult the time series of Demography.
