Consumer Prices Index 12-month average rate in Madeira was 0.7%
In August 2017, the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) 12-month average rate in Madeira was 0.7%, 0.2 percentage points (p.p.) higher than in the previous month.
The classes of "Communications" (2,9%) and "Alcoholic beverages, tobacco" recorded the largest positive changes (+2.7%), while the largest downward pressure on the annual average rate of change came from "Clothing and footwear" (-2.6%) and "Furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance of the house" (-1.4%).
In Portugal, the value of that rate was 1.1%.
In August 2017 the value of housing rents per square meter of floor area was the same as in the previous month.
