In 2021
Cement sales in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached the highest values of the last ten years
According to the data collected by the Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM), in 2021, the cement sales in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached 154.8 thousand tonnes – the highest value of the last ten years - increasing by 29.1% from last year (119.9 thousand tonnes).
Regarding the value of cement sold in the Autonomous Region of Madeira in the reference year, it stood at 17.5 million euros, growing by 33.5% from the previous year.
In the 4th quarter of 2021, the cement sales had a 30.9% year-on-year increase while the sales value rose by 43.9%.
