Average value of bank appraisals on housing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira increased from the previous month and year-on-year
In August 2018, the average value of bank appraisals on housing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached €1 346/sq meter, increasing by 2.4% from July 2018 and by 8.1% from the year-ago month. The value of the month of reference is the highest since April 2013.
For the flats located in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the average value of bank appraisals in the month of reference was €1 375/sq meter. In the case of row houses the value was lower (€1 306/sq meter).
For Portugal, that same variable stood at €1 196/sq meter in the month of reference, 0.8% above the previous month. The year-on-year change rate was +6.6%.
