Madeira registered the highest growth in the country in the average value of bank evaluation on housing
The average value of housing bank appraisals in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached € 1 171 / sq meter in September 2015, up by €33 from August 2015 and from the year before as well (+2.9%). For Portugal, that same variable stood at €1 039 / sq meter in the month of reference, increasing by 0.3% over the previous month. The year-on-year change rate was +1.0%.
For the flats located in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, the value of bank appraisals in the month of reference was €1 168 / sq meter. In the case of row houses the value was higher (€1 174 / sq meter).
