In the first quarter of 2017
Number of building permits and completed increased in the Autonomous Region of Madeira compared to the same period of 2016
In the first quarter of 2017, 74 buildings were licensed and 59 buildings were completed. This represented an increase of 29.8% and 31.1%, respectively, compared to the same period of 2016.
The number of completed dwellings in new constructions for family housing (75) recorded a 21.0% increase.
64.9% of the licenses of construction and demolition works were for new constructions (48), 87.5% of which were destined for family housing (42).
