European Statistics Day
The European Statistical Community celebrates for the first time in this year of 2016, the European Statistics Day, with the goal of highlighting the importance and value of official statistics for our Society. Without high-quality, updated and easy-access statistical information, the wide range of users of statistical data - the policy makers, the research community, the media, the enterprises and the citizens - would see themselves deprived of a fundamental tool to understand the reality and context in which they operate.
The Regional Statistics Directorate of Madeira (DREM) joins the celebration of the European Statistics Day by creating a new thematic area on its Official statistics website, for the dissemination of Collaboration Protocols.
