Cement sales in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached the highest value in the last thirteen years
According to data collected by the Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM), cement sales in the Autonomous Region of Madeira reached 175.7 thousand tonnes in 2024, the highest value recorded in the last thirteen years, representing an 8.9% increase compared to the previous year (161.3 thousand tonnes).
The value of cement sold in the Autonomous Region of Madeira during the reference year stood at 24.6 million euros, a growth by 22.8% compared to the prior year.
In the 4th quarter of 2024, the volume of cement sold at the initial point of sale showed an 18.5% year-on-year increase, while the sales value rose by 28.8%.
